Transition students are required to learn to use public transportation as a means to access activities in the community and to get to and from school. LSA staff will provide training and support to help students become as independent as possible. Monthly passes and training passes will be provided for students. Parents who choose not to have their student use public transportation, walk, or ride their bike to and from school will be responsible for drop off and pick up. Students should not be dropped off before 8:30 a.m. and picked up no later than 3:00 p.m., as there will not be staff available for supervision.
