Students shall conduct themselves in a manner that contributes to a productive learning atmosphere for themselves and their classmates. Students are expected to be attentive, cooperative, and industrious while at school.
The following CTA rules will be followed:
- Follow instructions the first time
- Respect people and personal property
- Be a good listener
- Raise your hand and wait
- Put phones away during class and while traveling in the community
Positive Consequences
If students follow classroom rules they can expect the following:
- Earn respect
- Verbal praise
- Tickets/CTA $/Treats
- iPad time
- Kudos call home
Negative Consequences
If a student does not follow the classroom rules, the consequences will be as follows:
- Lose respect
- Meet with teacher
- Phone call home
- Miss community outing
Severe Clause: Any behavior that is detrimental to the learning atmosphere or to the safety of the students, self, or teacher will result in being referred to Canyons District administration and parents will be notified.
